This is collection of contemporary literature for young people from Asia and the Pacific counties which is widely read, published under the Asian/Pacific Copublication Programme (ACP) carried out by the Asian Cultural Centre for Unesco (ACCU), with the joint efforts of Unesco member states in the region, and in co-operation with Unesco. This is the 24rd publication of ACP, and 20 Asian/Pacific countries participated; this volume comprises ten stories from ten countries, and the second volume the Wall and Other Stories contains eleven stories from eleven countries. All the stories and illustrations have been contributed by 20 countries in the region and selected by Regional Editorial Committee for ACP with the joint efforts of Unesco member states in Asia and the Pacific.
