The importance of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, Act 1 of 2014 in the light of the aim to establish Corruption Free Society and Public Administration and Maintenance of Healthy Democracy need not be over remphasised. The demand for such Legislation and the popular public agitation also cannot be forgotten and these are noteworthy. In this short commentary, care has been taken to deal with the subject in a systematic way so that even a common man also may be able to follow the essentials of the legislation.
