Synopsis The book entitled "Role of Biosciences in New Millennium" is the proceedings of the symposium held at the Department of Biosciences, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. In the past decade new concepts in biology have emerged at an unprecedented pace. Scientists have developed sophisticated tools in molecular biology and biotechnology that permit in immobilization of cells and enzymes. At the same time, engineering have devised advanced fermentation technology and product processing. Science of genetics can help grow a wide range of "friendly bacteria culture" capable of helping the natural process of cure and care.
