Whispering Words: A Memoir reflects on and shares the personal experience the author has gained at various places of stay, study, work and travel. Though not an autobiography, it unfolds various interesting incidents in different real-life situations and challenges the author, coming from a remote rural background with limited means, has encountered with in achieving his goals. The book is divided in various chapters presenting glimpses of the author’s early childhood, schooling and education in the valley of Kashmir; his higher education in Agra and the US; his work at academic institutions in Patiala, Mussoorie and Mysore; his travels abroad and different activities he has been involved in.
