Dr. E. Satyanarayana is presently working as an Assistant Professor of English in Government Degree & PG College, Narsampet, Warnagal, Telangana. He did his M.Phil(1992) and Ph.D (1994) from Kakatiya University, Warangal and PGCTE from CIEFL, Hyderabad. Earlier he worked as an Assistant Professor of English at Mary Stella Degree & PG College, Vijayawada and S.P Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur, Maharashtra. He has published more than thirty scholarly articles on different topics in national and international journals. He also presented several papers at seminars both national and international. He trains the candidates appearing for competitive examinations. His The Plays of Mahaswetha Devi, a full-length critical study of Mahsewtha’s Five Plays, was published by the Prestige, New Delhi in 2000. His translations of short stories by Ampasayya Naveen, Jukanti Jagannadam, Itha Chandraiah, Peddinti Ashok Kumar appeared in the anthologies like Lifescapes, Showers on Deccan Rocks and journals like Triveni. His poems have appeared in the Triveni and The New Indian Express. His research interests are: Indian Writing in English and ELT. He is a course writer and a counselor for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of SDLCE, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad and Moulana Azad national Urdu University.
