This book is an attempt to prove that the art of Nalanda should be named after the place not by any dynasty or kingdom because Nalanda has some its own identity in the field of art. impact could be seen not only on other Indian art but also on the Northern and South-East Asian country's art from. The illustrations given in the book are mostly scatteredimages seeking convervation and preservation.
