The experiences of the youth of Assam, especially of the Bodo youth, in the context of conflict and its psychological impact, are major challenges to everyone in Northeast India. In “Victims of Violence: Psychological Impact of Conflict on Youth”, the author explores the psychological impact of conflict on youth in Assam, with special reference to Kokrajhar and Udalguri districts, BTAD, Assam.

The book creatively analyses major contemporary understandings of physical and psychological impact of conflict and their significance, compares with the framework of Galtung’s conflict models in order to make them relevant to communities as well as academic discipline and learning.
