Synopsis Herbs (Useful in Dermatological Therapy) has been designed to enlighten the scientists and physicians with the treasure that is contained in the Mother Nature, its flora and fauna. In the present day medical world, people have forgotten their rich herbal heritage. With the rising interest in herbs all over the world, the book concentrates on managing dermatologic problems with herbs—how to identify, prepare, and use them. These herbs are readily available for the treatment of people even in the remote areas. Our earlier book Traditional Indian Dermatology (Concepts of Past and Present) provided the basic knowledge, and the present book details the information on the use of that knowledge. Another publication, Skin Irritant and Sensitizing Plants, will help in isolating the useful herbs from the harmful plants.
