Synopsis There is a marked increase in the number of people who are unhappy with themselves, if we are to infer from the number of people who commit suicides, who abuse alcohol, who commit atrocities against children and women. Therefore there is a need for counseling services to make people adjust to their life situation and to make the bet out of their circumstances. More often than not people do not seeking professional help because of the eyebrows it might raise. In the absence of professional help or when there is reluctance to use professional help the para professional counseling such as peer counseling if done in a systematic way could bring a lot of differences to people’s lives.
