Philosophy is a critique of other modes of thought. There have been, during the past half century, tremendous advances in sciences, especially in the field of biomedicine, environment science, business management study, computronics and cybernetics, etc. The thinking and activities in these fields raise many philosophical issues which are predominantly ethical. The agent confronts ethical dilemmas and finds himself in a fix whether to do or not to do a given task calling for urgent resolution of the issues involved, shallow ecology and deep ecology, profit making, whistle blowing, etc. This book is an attempt to give clear perspectives of the aforesaid issues of biomedical ethics, environmental ethics and business ethics.
