Synopsis The present work seeks to portray a macro picture of the capital inflow and assistance from the developed world to the reccently Formed Third World nation, Bangladesh and its impact of assistance upon it has a great relevance for the neighbouring SAARC countries specially India. Instead of being a work of pure economics, it is more of an inquiry into the political economy of Bangladesh.
