This Journey into Sound begins at the origin of manifestation with the original sound and it takes the reader through the evolution of sound into music, in space and time. The voice riding the breath, one travels into the physical and psychic bodies with the chanting of sacred mantra's. With the help of Indian classical music of Dhrupad genre, the reader-traveller explores the tones, the raga and the elements and discovers him/herself during the journey. The journey goes on through various kinds of sounds and music and their applications in healing the body and mind of the performer as well as of the listener.
