Exploring John the Baptist with a new role and dimension has been a challenging task for the researcher. However she accepted this research with challenge. The work can be considered as a new valuable addition to the historical quest for John the Baptist. It would surely usher a new quest apart from those of the first three quests of historical John the Baptist. As an integral part of South- East Asian upland, scholars from the North-East India must also be benefitted with new perspective in the tribal theological discourse from this research.
