This monograph documents the basaltic columnar rock of the well known Dhinodhar Hill, a potential geoheritage site in the Kutch Region of Gujarat, outlining its significance and including recommendations for its conservation. The endeavour is to persuade the State authorities and GSI to declare the site as a recognized significant geoheritage, take measures to protect it by providing a suitable buffer zone and increase awareness about it amongst the general public.
