Synopsis The filming of Khushwant Singh’s novel Train to Pakistan recently once again aroused interest in Singh’s novels. This also led to penguin’s collected works of Khushwant Singh on the one hand and on the other the writer thought of attempting one more novel The Company of Women (1999).
