The Bhagavad Gita is a scripture suited for the whole of mankind, irrespective of one's religious of ethnic affiliation. It deals with eternal verities without any narrow theological or dogmatic presumptions that propagate credulity or sectarian hatred among its readers. Human values are reconciled with transcendental values in every phase of its teachings. By a careful study of it, the follower of any religion will become a better and a more faithful follower of it, and a secularist will become a true humanist without the failings of secularism. 

Though there are several translations of the Gila already in print, we venture to place this new edition before the public as an economy edition, available at a nominal price and helpful to men of all countries in studying this great text in the original.
