Synopsis For the last four decades ides of microteaching has been under constant investigation and has been resulted into a vast literature in the field. Here the concept of self-instructional Audio-Cassettes has been integrated with the idea of microteaching. It opens new vistas for preparing self-instructional material in the form of multi-media packages. This self-instructional material may go a long way in improving the general teaching competence of student-teachers in in general and developing teaching skills in particular.
