In this book Prof. Wilson’s translation of the Sanskrit Lyric into beautiful English Verses has been printed along with the original Sanskrit on the same pages. The translator has tried his best to go closer to the original in expounding the sentiment of love in separation. Exhausting notes on the text are given by the translator on almost every page clearing the doubts that may vex a casual reader.
