Synopsis India's former Foreign Secretary and former Member of the National Security Advisory Board Committee of Government of India presents a scholarly work entitled India and Regional Developments: Through the Prism of Indo-Pak Relations. The theme has deep bearing on Indian political relations with Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kashmir. The author has given rich details on India vis-a-vis regional developments with their effects on several complex events from time to time. Shri Dixit has well weaved the theme into seventeen chapters by meticulously analysing the fast changing under currents in Indo-Pak relations and other regions. Thus he continues to observe momentous historical events since the Agra summit and Indian scenario beyond its borders. However he is cautious in his approach regarding regional challenges and tension and international dilemma.
