Synopsis The exercise of eliciting social security options will have to be worked out on the experience with various measures and policies in different countries; their effectiveness in terms of coverage and benefits; limitations and shortfalls and the scope for generalization. Further globalization privatization, and liberalization are shaping the path of technology, creating new risks of marginalization and vulnerability. In such a critical circumstances providing social security effectively to the formal and informal sector is becoming more and more challenging task to the governments. This collection of papers focuses on existing social security strategies and analyzes the viable strategies that can be adopt in to the social policy to promote social justice for every citizen.
