Ailments and Complaints Before, During and After in Homoeopathy

Synopsis In our homoeopathic practice we meet with failures due to some unknown reason(s) or factor(s) or missing link or due to the result(s) of aggravation or amelioration of complaints before, during and after event(s) or episode(s) which persists with effect(s) and which the physician do not observe or inquire or the patient do not remember or do not disclose or connect with the main complaint (thinking it is a minor or disgraceful act) or unimportant.  But for a Homoeopath all symptoms with their effects are logically connected in an individual and these are useful in selecting and prescribing medicine(s).  Dr. Kent writes, "In sickness the symptoms that connot be explained are often very peculiar; the things that can be accounted for are not so often peculiar; peculiar things are less known to man."  (Bold letters mine. Page 206, Kent’s Lectures on Homoeopathic Philosophy). How true it is, "peculiar things are less known to man" today.  Allopathic doctors and many so-called scientific minded people will laugh or make an adverse remark or comment by treating a patient on "more striking, singular, uncommon and peculiar (characteristic)," symptoms resulting in a cure. (Para. 153, Organon of Medicine-Hahnemann).  For the Homoeopathic physician before, during and after event(s) or episode(s) may lead him to link and also to unlock at times the whole case with progressive cure.  It is a part of an etiological factor(s) with peculiar, striking event(s).
