Synopsis To impart statistical knowledge and mathematical awareness among commerce and management students, many universities in the country include quantitative techniques paper in their under graduation and post graduation courses. This book aims to satisfy this requirement. This book is also useful to C.A. and I.C.W.A. students in addition to B.A., B. Com., B.B.M., M.Com. and M.B.A. students. It consists of two parts. Part A of the book is divided into 13 subheads to cover the syllabus. Sufficient number of examples are worked out at appropriate places keeping in view the examination requirement. Part B is divided into 7 subheads and many number of problems, particularly business related problems are solved to help the students to understand the problems in depth. On the whole, depending on the nature of the syllabus, stress is given on theory in part A and problems in part B.
