Synopsis Horticulture has a special significance for the economic development, especially of the hilly regions. Most of the people, though hard working and face the calamities of nature and live in harsh conditions, yet produce lot of fruits, vegetables and other flowering and ornamental plants including the medicinal and aromatic plants.
