Synopsis This book contains most of aspects of named and many more relevant informations to date on AIDS/HIV: general, scientific, medical, ethical and epidemiological. This book is divided into twelve chapters each complemented by the most recent facts and figures collected by recent reporting of papers, journals and WHO and UNAID reports. Since it has the contribution of several sources, the style of presentation of the book has differed expectedly. The use of technical terms kept to a minimum in the chapters of general interest without sacrificing the depth and regour needed. Several items of research interest have been included in the text to invoke curiosity and thought. The text is adequately illustrated with diagrams and figures.
