Synopsis The present volume on ‘World Peace’ has been published to expound the creative essence of man as ‘Peace Within’ through the expansion of scientific, philosophical and aesthetic states of his being as the several stages of manifestations of sociocultural harmony as ‘Peace Without’. This process, puts much emphasis upon the inherent dignity and rights of all people of the world in developing justice, freedom and peace. But modern world crises, arising out of inequalities and injustice, caused by the fulfillment of particular privilege or interests are creating various forms of violence. The impact of uncontrolled population and poverty has been devastating on people and global environment. Terrorism, rebellion and repression through indiscriminate killings and dastardly acts of violence have taken off man’s security and peace. To combat violence by mere violence will breed violence more and more. So the non-violent measures of negotiation, dialogue, talk across the table for encouraging intercultural understanding which will surely minimize violence and promote the prospect of world peace through mutual agreement and acceptance in cultivating collective goodness. This form of constructive peace process of developing harmony of cultures and communities should be the real foundation of Globalization.
