Synopsis All the three regions of Jammu and Kashmir state viz., Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have contributed significantly to the development of the state. But due to lack of data no concerted efforts were made to analyse the role of different sectors in the development of the state economy. The present work is an introduction to different economic indicators contributing to the development of different sectors of the economy of Jammu and Kashmir state. The book gives a detailed account of recent data and also progress made by these sectors of the state economy.
