Synopsis Social sector development in India is an addition to the series of titles arising out of IEA theme-wise conference/seminar papers. This volume is a collection of 23 papers contributed for the IEA conference at Gwalior. The articles are divided in five parts relating to the theme. Human development and human capital formation, development of education and health sectors, peace as a component of social infrastructure and others are the main areas highlighted by these articles.
