Synopsis The present research based book deals with counseling services it genesis services provided, training and research undertaken in 17 Universities in India. The research based book is printed to provide wider circulation to telephonic counseling initiatives provided by 17 PERCs. The UGC under it X plan has made it mandatory for each university to provide counseling services. This book will be able to provide basic guidelines for these who are interested to initiate the team. A Research Team provided the editorial and research support. The UGC under it UGC-UNFPA collaboration provided financial support for undertaking this National Level Research. No doubt this book will be highly useful for the users.
