A Comprehensive Manual is an unavoidable asset in the modern style of teaching. Since the introduction of all India syllabus by Veterinary Council of India (VCI), the necessity to publish a Manual was felt. An attempt has been made to present this Manual, keeping in view the needs of students offering courses in Veterinary Biochemistry at under-graduate level. The students not only from biochemistry, but from other allied disciplines at post-graduate level will also be benefited. The language is simple and easily understandable by the students. Though the authors have tried to cover the topics in all possible required details, the suggestions for the improvement are cordially invited.
