Synopsis Jawab and Ali have assembled a useful compilation of media laws particularly in an era of mass communication. In Pakistan there is a need to strengthen to tort law with special reference to the law of defamation in the arena of both print and experience in Washington DC, I saw how the field of law intersected with journalism. The 21st Century promises to be a battle of ideas with journalists and lawyers set to play a significant role. Through this commendable effort, Jawad and Ali have taken a positive step which will benefit lawyers and laymen as Will as journalists and generalists in Pakistan.
