Synopsis Sarasvati is one of the most important goddess of the Hindu pantheon, who emerged out of the tounge of Brahma. She had been so beautiful and charming that Brahma had to create five faces in order to keep her in his constant gaze. She has been adored as the goddess of learning and her individual sculptures have been under worship in India and abroad. She was also held in high esteem by the Buddhists and the Jainas.
