Synopsis Here we have taken the study of human characteristics based on the Qur’?n as a source of knowledge. We have discussed these characteristics as in the Holy Qur’?n with our relative understanding of the Qur’?nic texts. The objective of the study is therefore to arrive at the exposition of the human psyche and their understandings as Allah has described human being in the Qur’?n without any masks or processes of beautification. Does psychology study the reality of man or the veils which man puts on his face or behaviour in general? This is however not the place to answer this important question in a direct manner. But our study of human psyche in the Qur’?n will clarify to us how man is described without any veils or beautification.
