Synopsis This is the first such dictionary in English and is based on the "The Great Volume of Precise Understanding"(Mahavyutpatti)-the first Sanskrit dictionary commissioned by King Tri Ralpachen in the 9th century, supplemented from the works of various Tibetan lamas.
