Synopsis The State Level Public Enterprises (SLPEs) are important components of the economy of states. The restructuring of SLPEs is an integral part of the economic reforms initiated by the STATE Government. This study presents the State of select SLPEs in MP, their institutional structure, governance relational and scope and time table for future reforms. As a prelude, the study provides a backdrop of the economy of MP. The information contained in this study has been obtained from both primary and secondary sources. Having some critical limitations, the analysis and conclusion of study will prove of utmost use for academics as well as policy planners and administrators.
