Synopsis Archaeology is gaining rapid momentum in the modem context and delayed publication of-Research papers runs the risk of getting branded as outdated. Here in these volumes papers are updated with the latest finds. As the contributions are in good numbers, they are arranged in seven sections comprising two volumes. The first section highlights the personal reminiscences by the close associates of Late Dr. Subrahmanyam. The other papers are on : Pre-history; proto-history; historical archaeology; iconography, art and architecture; epigraphy and numismatics; and crafts.
