Synopsis Since Rio Earth Biodiversity has gained Importance, Biodiversity bill has been approved by Parliament of India. Several countries are preparing national Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plans. Even after this not many journals and books are coming out on Biodiversity in India. We intend to bring out a series of Edited volumes on Biodiversity in India encompassing all aspects. This includes Species diversity, genetic diversity and Ecosystem diversity. This volume is the fourth in this attempt. Authors who intend to publish their articles are requested to send them to the editor. We week the opinion of the readers for the coming volumes.
