Synopsis This work titled 'Glimpses of Vedic and ancient Indian Civilization;, is an attempt to uncover some important aspects of Vedic and ancient Indian Civilization through an analytical study of textual references. The later part provides glimpses of some other aspects of Indian culture and civilization as depicted in the Post Vedic Sanskrit texts. Through this research views of ancient thinkers on ecology, education, family, environmental ethics, philosophy, and management are brought out.
