Understanding basic terminology of aquatic resources and fisheries bears much importance in view of increasing attention being paid to the management of our water resources. With a view to acquaint readers to the terminology in vogue the world over an attempt has been made to compile and present terminology pertaining to aquatic resources and fisheries in the form of this book. This publication would be useful to the teachers, extension workers etc. engaged in the study and management of aquatic resources.
