Synopsis The book provides information on the hypolidemic, hypocholestrolemic and antiatherosclerotic activities of various plants in the form of a glossary primarily to meet the needs of investigators working in this area of research. The book is also considered useful for Ayurvedic scholars to familiarize them with the findings of modern research on plants used for the treatment of cardiovascular and other related disorders.
