Synopsis The teaching of English has become a compulsion and a necessary evil for the people of the developing countries. In almost all the developing countries of the world English is taught in the primary as well as in secondary schools on a compulsory basis. Inspite of the fact that the children face difficulties in learning a foreign language, there is great pressure on the children to learn English. It has, therefore, become very necessary that teachers as well as students are acquainted with the easiest ways of learning English. Writing English is a necessary part of learning language. In addition to the regular curricular work of teaching English, the teachers need to adopt informal methods of teaching English. Students should be encouraged to write essays, composition, poems and other stories.
