Synopsis People who have been awarded Nobel Prize are by no means ordinary in their talent, work or life…some of them were already famous before they received their Nobel, through many of them gained world level fame and recognition after becoming a Nobel Laureate. Whatever their area of activity might be, Nobel Laureates have changed the way mankind lives and thinks over the years wishes of the late Alfred Nobel who in his partially incomplete Will, had clearly mentioned that the award be given to those who along with writing the most outstanding work in ideal direction or making the most important discoveries “shall have conferred the greatest benefit to the mankind.” Chemistry is one of the three scientific prize areas mentioned in Alfred Nobel’s will. This publication, a set of who volumes speaks extensively of the life and researchers of scientists and inventors of the world, who received Nobel Prize for their discoveries in past years. The text includes struggles, education, personal life and achievements alongwith the discovery, which got them the Nobel. A more detailed account of discoveries of the Nobel Laureates could not be included here in these two volumes due to resources constraints.
