Synopsis This book examines the military factors responsible for the complete subjugation of Northern Indian by the Ghorids within ten years after the victory at Tarain (1192) which led to the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate. This work also analysis the intricacies involved in the consolidation, expansion and defence of the Sultanate’s Frontier.
