Synopsis In almost all the stories, the dog is a central character acting like a catalyst and making things happen. In the title story The Deadly Trio, it is the dog again who plays a major role in tracking down a group of kidnappers on the run. The stories are also about the relationship between man and animals and how our sympathy for these animals can mature into an everlasting bond.
