Encumbered with the head of an elephant, Ganesha nonetheless dances his way through adversity, doted upon wherever he goes. He is regaled with his favourite food and drink, and celebrated at every new beginning. Ganesha's power lies in his intelligence, and he uses it boldly to outwit his athletic brother in a trans-global race, to subdue an arrogant moon, and to inscribe the long saga of the Mahabharata.
