Synopsis The book gives vivid description about the Harappans, who laid the foundations of the Indian culture and who departed leaving a rich legacy behind them, which forms the backbone of Indian culture today. The book describes as to how their resting abode, after death was discovered how they were disturbed from their eternal sleep, by the archaeologists, and how their burials were scientifically excavated and studied. The evidences from Kalibangan Cemetery when analysed and studied in the light of the vast literature available in the ancient texts, particularly the 'vaidic' clearly demonstrate the affinity of Harappans with Vaidic Aryans.
