Synopsis The present work presents a wide spectrum of research and study on different aspects of medieval and modern Indian history. It relates to such significant areas as land revenue, medicine, agriculture, trade, gender, nobility, historiography, religion and Indo-American relations, carried out by well known scholars in their respective areas of work. It has brought forth those aspects of Indian history which have not been discussed at length till date.
