Synopsis This work is the first large scale bibliography on the tribes of Madhya Pradesh. It puts together, in one volume information about the material on history (A.D. 1213 to A.D. 1985), anthropology, sociology, geography, economics, genetics, literature, linguistics, and folklore of the tribals of Madhya Pradesh available in Indian and foreign languages and dialects. It is a unique attempt at making available the information about valuable works of all kinds lying scattered in current as well as out-of-print and out-of-reach rare books, manuscripts, periodicals etc. in different libraries in India and abroad. About 1600 references included in this volume refer to one aspect or the other related to the tribes of Madhya Pradesh. Researchers and scholars of various disciplines will find this work useful for their intellectual pursuits.
