Synopsis Cartoonist Sarathy is a veteran in this field. He has worked with Anandavikatan and Cho Ramaswamy's Thuglak weekly for many years. Later he joined the art magazine Sruti and his 'laffamalika' cartoons published by Sruti are enjoyed by all connoisseurs of Naatya and music around the world. The interesting illustrations in this book are probably his last sketches and it is unfortunate that he is not with us today to share the joy of this publications. He was very anxious to see his work in this book and we thank him for his generous contribution to his publications.
