Synopsis This book embodies 15 selected articles on various aspects of the general theme, ‘Population, Resources and development’ These are contributed by the geographers, who are experts in their respective field. It is well recognized that population and resources are the two basic factors for development. Therefore, in any in-depth analysis of population and resources and their interaction and influences is essential in order to understand the deep seated problems of d3evelopment in a particular region.
