Synopsis This dictionary has been compiled to help you to identify and correct common English errors in your written work and so help you to express yourself in a clear and more acceptable way.  There are a number of published common error books for students in English but none of them focus on errors in written academic English.  The material in this dictionary has been such a focus and should therefore, be directly relevant to the need of university students.  The terms included in this dictionary have been collected over a long period of time by students.  Many of the errors are common to non-native users of English.
